Mexican Painted Gourd Maracas

Vintage handmade Mexican Maracas. One of these is in orange the other
raspberry with hand painted figures of a stylized person on the side of each
one. These are made from dried hollowed gourd with seeds inside and carved
wooden handle. They make the most sweetest sounding music, very rhythmic and
soothing.
This set is a ‘marriage’, two maracas paired together now but originally from
two different sets. They are of similar size and style and we believe they look
great and work good together as a set. These are in nice vintage condition,
some age scratches and scrapes.
They measures approximately 6” inches long and 3” inches at the widest point
of the gourds.
